Hartwell Mennonite Church was founded in 1989 in Hartwell, Georgia. The church joined the Biblical Mennonite Alliance in February 2009.

In 2012 the leading minister was Larry J. Miller and the associate pastor was Paul Gingerich. The congregational membership was 22 and the average weekly attendance was 45.
