Hans der Weduwe(n), an Anabaptist martyr, burned at the stake in Antwerp, Belgium, on 31 January 1573 because he had been (re)baptized and had attended the forbidden meetings of the Mennonites. Either Hans Knevel or Hans van Munstdorp may be identical with this Hans der Weduwen, of whom nothing further is known.
