Halbstadt, a common Mennonite village name transplanted from the Prussian Marienburg Werder to the Molotschna Mennonite settlement. The name also appears in the following settlements: Barnaul, Siberia; Manitoba; Mexico; and Menno, Neuland, and Sommerfeld settlement of Villarrica, Paraguay.
