H.O.P.E. Community Church (Nelson, British Columbia, Canada)

H.O.P.E. (House of Prayer for Everyone) Community Church in Nelson, British Columbia, began holding public services in September 2001 in the Rosemont Elementary School. Up until then the group, led by Jeff and Marilyn Zak, met as a house church. The congregation joined the British Columbia (BC) Conference of Mennonite Brethren (MB) Churches in 2003. The founding pastor was Jeff Zak, who was still serving in 2008. At that time the church had 15 members and an average attendance of 50. At the 2010 BC Conference of MB Church convention it was reported that the church had ceased operations within the past year.
