De Gulden Harpe is a Dutch hymnbook containing 270 hymns without music, alphabetically arranged. The hymns were all composed by Karl van Mander and selected from poems published in a number of volumes. The first edition of De Gulden Harpe appeared in 1599, followed by editions of 1605, 1620, and 1627. According to Jacobsen there was also an edition in 1626, in which for the first time Bethelehem Dat is het Broodhuys, inhoudende den Kersnacht was included, consisting of 15 hymns by the same poet. The Gulden Harpe was used among the Old Flemish congregations of Holland and also among the Danzig Mennonites who had the 1620 and 1627 editions.
