Prior to 1997 the congregation met at Priory Park Public School in Guelph. Pastor Hugo Neufeld served in 1996 as a part time salaried congregational leader. In 1985 there were 14 members; in 1995, 39. The congregation affiliated with the Conference of United Mennonite Churches of Ontario in 1982, with the Conference of Mennonites in Canada in 1983 and the Mennonite Conference of Eastern Canada in 1988. The language of worship is English.

The congregation began services in 1980, and formally organized in 1982. The congregation originated through the outreach of individuals interested in starting a Mennonite fellowship in Guelph.

In 1997 the congregation began to meet with the Breslau Mennonite Church, though the group did not formally dissolve. It no longer existed as a separate congregation.
