Goudeken (Aldegonde) de Jonckheere (Joncheere), an Anabaptist martyr, executed on 21 July 1562, at Ghent, Belgium. She was 28 years of age, a daughter of Gherolf and a native of Merendree in Flanders. She was burned at the stake together with four other women, among whom were her sisters Vijntgen and Janneken, because they "persisted in their rebaptism." Concerning these martyrs van Braght, Martyrs' Mirror, relates: "They confessed their faith without fear and remained steadfast until death." Their names are included in the song "Als men schreef duyst vijfhondert jaer ende twee en tsestich mede," found in the Liedtboecxken van den Offer des Heeren. Besides these three sisters, a brother Pieter de Jonckheere was executed on 12 March 1562 at Ghent.
