Gheese Aelbrechtsdochter, an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, wife of [[Lambrecht Duppijns (d. 1539)|Lambrecht Duppijns]] of Haarlem, Dutch province of [[North Holland (Netherlands)|North Holland]], was arrested there on 23 May 1539 when a meeting of Anabaptists in their home was surprised by the officials.
