<em>Getrewe Warnung der Prediger des Evangelii zu Strassburg über die Artickel, so Jakob Kautz, Prediger zu Wormbs, kürtzlich hat lassen ausgohn, die frucht der schritt und Gottes worts, den kinder Tauff, und erlösung unsers herren Jesu Christi, sambt anderm, darin sich Hans Dencken, und anderer widertäuffer schwere yrrtumb erregen, betreffend. This is the title of a booklet in quarto with 47 unnumbered pages. It was written by the [[Strasbourg (Alsace, France)|Strasbourg]] reformers, especially [[Bucer, Martin (1491-1551)|Bucer]]. The contents are a factual refutation of the seven theses which [[Kautz, Jakob (1500-1532?)|Jakob Kautz]] posted in Worms. The authors complain that Kautz did not dispute with them in writing, for in the year before he had written quite honestly and fraternally to [[Capito, Wolfgang (1478-1541)|Wolfgang Capito]]; the latter had replied and urgently warned him. Since then (said the authors) he had not been heard from. The booklet considers [[Denck, Hans (ca. 1500-1527)|Hans Denck]] the actual originator of the doctrines promoted by Kautz, and violently attacks and misjudges him (see [[Denck, Hans (ca. 1500-1527)|Denck]]), whereas it gives [[Sattler, Michael (d. 1527)|Michael Sattler]] very favorable comment.
