The Gem Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church in Gem, Alberta, began services about 1927. The congregation originated through immigration from the Soviet Union. It was affiliated with the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church.

The congregation merged with the Gem Mennonite Brethren Church in 1941.

The language of worship was German.
