Frensburg (Elsassfrensburg), about 12 miles (20 km) from Wissembourg in [[Alsace (France)|Alsace]], was formerly the seat of a Mennonite congregation of Swiss descent. About 1760 Christian Naftziger was the elder, and Peter Güngerich and Michael Schantz preachers.
