Frans van Elstland (d. 1561)

Frans (Franchoys) van Elstland (Elstlandt) (Frans van Meenen), an Anabaptist martyr of Belgium, a mason, was baptized on the confession of his faith, was seized 9 October 1561, and burned at the stake on 21 October of that year at "Arien in  Walschvlaenderen" (van Braght), thought to be Aire, Belgium.
