Frans de Swarte (d. 1562)

Frans (Francoys) de Swarte, an Anabaptist martyr of Belle (Bailleul), French Flanders, was burned at the stake at Hondschote, Flanders, Belgium on 23 March 1562. He obviously belonged to the Anabaptist de Swarte family, many members of which were executed about the same time.
