The Fonds tot verhooging van Doopsgezinde Leeraars tractementen (Fund for the Raising of the Salaries of Mennonite Ministers) was founded in 1911 and administered by the treasurers of the Algemene Doopsgezinde Sociëteit (A.D.S., Dutch General Mennonite Conference). In the province of Friesland a Verhogingsfonds was founded in 1919 by the Friesche Sociëteit (Conference of Mennonite Congregations of Friesland) in order to raise the salaries of the ministers.
