Ewelme Hutterite Colony in Standoff, Alberta, was founded in 1927 (Hofer says 1925) as a division from the East Cardston Hutterite Colony. In 2012 the Ewelme Hutterite Colony was a Dariusleut colony. The minister was Peter Walter and the manager was George Hofer.
