Eschelbronn near [[Dillsberg (Baden-Württemberg, Germany)|Dillsberg]], in the former Palatine region of Heidelberg, has been at least since 1717 the home of Swiss Mennonites, leaseholders on the estates of Baron von Feltz. It is not certain whether the name Bamberger found in the Mennonite list of 1717 belongs there or in the Jewish list drawn up at the same time.
