Emmanuel Krimmer Mennonite Brethren Church (Finney County, Kansas, USA)

Emmanuel Krimmer Mennonite Brethren Church, now extinct, located 20 miles (33 km) northeast of Garden City, Finney County, Kansas, came into being when settlers from various churches, especially from Jansen, Nebraska, came there in 1918, with Elder J. K. Ens as leader. In 1926 the membership had reached 80 and the Sunday-school enrollment 110. A public school and later a church basement served for a meeting place. The church was disbanded in 1936 when the majority of its members moved to other localities. Other ministers who served the congregation are I. M. Friesen and J. J. Voth.
