Elim Gospel Beach, a beautiful retreat ground and summer resort, including 260 acres of ground and 60 acres of water located at the north end of Lac Pelletier, about 26 miles (40 km) southwest of Swift Current, Saskatchewan. The beach was owned and operated by the Mennonite Youth Society (General Conference Mennonite) of Saskatchewan, with the head office at Rosthern, Saskatchewan. Elim Gospel Beach offered a quiet place for rest, spiritual worship through retreats, Gospel services, and missionary and Sunday-school conventions. In 1955 it had an auditorium, restaurant, refreshment booth, and cabins.
