The Dwelling Place in Kitchener, Ontario was planted largely by members of Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church in 2000. The vision was to plant a church in the multicultural, multi-economic Victoria Hills neighborhood of Kitchener. Ministries of the church included English conversation classes, family fun events, and an annual soccer camp.

Ingrid Reichard served as lead pastor from 2008 until 2014.

The congregation closed in 2015.
