Dreiborn was a former district in the Rhine Province of Prussia, where the Anabaptists found adherents in the 16th century. The von Harff family in Burg Dreiborn have in their possession court documents on the Anabaptists in the district of Dreiborn (41."Akten betr. die Wiedertäufer und Reformierten inder Herrschaft Dreiborn, 16. und 17.
