Douglas Mennonite Church (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada)
1517 Rothesay, Winnipeg, MB, R2G 3G5. (204) 668-7432. Co-pastors Don Boschman and Kathleen Rempel Boschman served in 2001 as congregational leaders. In 1985 there were 249 members; in 1995, 329; in 2000, 356. The congregation has been affiliated with the Conference of Mennonites in Manitoba and the Conference of Mennonites in Canada (1980-). The language of worship is English and German.
The congregation began services in 1978, and formally organized in 1980. Franz Wiebe is considered the founding leader of the group. A new building was dedicated in 1995. The congregation originated through division from Springfield Heights Mennonite Church.
