Hans Dohn was an Anabaptist martyr who was burned at the stake under Elector August of Saxony. In the records of his trial is found the version of the Lord's Prayer peculiar to the Thuringian Anabaptists, "Give us the eternal heavenly Bread." This version is attested in other records also.
