Dirck, Cleynen (d. 1558)

Cleynen Dirck (Dierick Jonckhans; Little Dirk in English edition of Martyrs' Mirror), an Anabaptist martyr and a native of Walderveen near Trier, Germany, was taken prisoner at Antwerp, Belgium. He was examined three times and beheaded at the Steen prison at Antwerp on 21 July 1558. His name is found in the song "Aenhoort Godt, hemelsche Vader" (Hear, O God, heavenly Father), in the Liedtboecxken van den Offer des Heeren.
