Dinuba (California, USA)
Dinuba is a town located in Tulare County, with a population in 2000 of 16,584. The area is well-known for its agricultural production, particularly of tree fruit and grape vineyards. The first Mennonite settlers came to the Dinuba area in 1904, though most of the attended churches in nearby Reedley. In 1911 a group of Krimmer Mennonite Brethren organized the Zion Krimmer Mennonite Brethren Church five miles (eight km) southwest of Dinuba. In 1937 the South Reedley Mennonite Brethren Church relocated to Dinuba, and became the Dinuba Mennonite Brethren Church. In 1938 they completed a church building in Dinuba, with a seating capacity of 1,000.
