The Old Order Amish settlement south of Delhi, Iowa, USA began in 2011 as the result of conflict within the nearby Edgewood, Iowa Amish community. The new Delhi group resisted a bishop's ruling that Amish men could only work off the farm two days per week. The Delhi Amish found this to be unrealistic financially.

The Old Order Amish settlement south of Delhi, Iowa, USA began in 2011 as the result of conflict within the nearby Edgewood, Iowa Amish community.
