When seeking a larger location for worship, a member with connections to the Meserete Kristos Church (Mennonite Church in Ethiopia) suggested contacting the Ottawa Mennonite Church. They were warmly welcomed and worshiped there on Sunday afternoons for a time. Later they rented space at the Cedarview Alliance Church located closer to the areas of the city in which most of the members lived.
