California was a Mennonite colony founded in 2006 in the Santa Cruz Department in Bolivia. In 2020 the population of the colony was estimated at approximately 1000-2,500 individuals and the land area comprised of 21,100 hectares. The colonists came primarily from Manitoba (Bolivia).
