Cornelis Bruinvis, born 30 May 1736, died 6 March 1810 was a deacon in the Frisian church at Alkmaar. He wrote historical sketches, which were published in the Doopsgezinde Bijdragen 1880, p. 48 ff.; 1882, 83 ff.; 1883, 30ff., and offered valuable insight into the church life of this Dutch Mennonite congregation.
