Jacob Hendriks Brouwer, was a preacher in the Noorderkaai congregation at Blokzijl. He sought financial support in the Amsterdam congregation for himself and two of his members when he was arrested and had further difficulties on account of his booklet, Onderwijs naer den wegh ten Hemel (1698), being charged with Socinianism (letter of 26 March 1707).
