Bregte Adams (d. 1536)

Bregte Adams, wife of Frans Dirksz Quintijn or Frans Dirksz van Wormer, an Anabaptist martyr, was executed by drowning at Alkmaar, Dutch province of North Holland, on 1 February 1536 because she had been rebaptized. Her husband had been burned at the stake at Alkmaar on the previous day.
