<em>Die Brücke</em>, was a Mennonite news periodical of [[Brazil|Brazil]]. It was published privately May 1932 to June 1937, first by Peter J. Klassen and Heinrich Martins, then after June 1933 by Klassen alone, as an 8-page bimonthly; then beginning January 1935, as a monthly, 8 x 12 in., in 1937 changed to a 4-page 12 x 15 in. paper. Although published at Witmarsum-Hammonia, state of Santa Catarina, and therefore really the organ of the [[Krauel Colony (Alto Krauel District, Santa Catarina, Brazil)|Krauel Colony]], it attempted to serve all the Mennonites in Brazil. After a six-month suspension, the Krauel Colony officially took over the publication with a subsidy from Germany, with Heinrich Martins as editor, making it an 8-page 8 x 12 in. monthly again, beginning in January 1938 under the name <em>[[Brücke, Die neue (Periodical)|Die neue Brücke]]. </em>Publication ceased with the September-October 1938 16-page double number.
