Birch Creek Hutterite Colony in Valier, Montana, was founded in 1948 (Hofer says 1947) as a division from the New Elm Spring Hutterite Colony. In 2012 the Birch Creek Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony. The minister was Ike Waldner and the manager was John Kleinsasser.
