<em>Eine Begebenheit, die sich in der Mennoniten-Gemeinde in Deutschland, und in der Schweiz, von 1693 bis 1700 zugetragen hat</em> is a pamphlet of 54 pages, compiled by Joseph Stuckey, of Danvers, [[Illinois (USA)|Illinois]] (printed by [[John F. Funk &amp; Brother|John F. Funk and Brother]], Elkhart, in 1871). It contains four letters regarding the [[Amish Division|Amish division]] which took place in [[Switzerland|Switzerland]] and [[Alsace (France)|Alsace]], written by four contemporaries, Jakob Guth, Christian Blanck, [[Roosen, Gerrit (1612-1711)|Gerhard Roosen]], and Uli Ammann. The pamphlet was reprinted (same press) in 1883 and 1906, and was reissued in 1936 by L. A. Miller ([[Amish Mennonite Publishing Association|A. M. Publishing Association]], Arthur, Illinois). This last edition also contained the additional letter of [[Ammann, Jakob (17th/18th century) |Jakob Ammann]], the leader of the Amish division, which appeared in print here for the first time.
