Pieter Beets Pzn (ca. 1755-1813), a son of [[Beets, Pieter (1729-1776)|Pieter Beets]]. He was appointed as <em>proponent</em> at Altona, and served the congregation of [[Blokzijl (Overijssel, Netherlands)|Blokzijl]] 1782-1785. Then he studied two years at the university of [[Groningen (Groningen, Netherlands)|Groningen]], meanwhile serving the congregation at [[Leer (Niedersachsen, Germany)|Leer]] and [[Altona (Hamburg, Germany)|Altona]].
