Bartolf, Margarete (16th century)

Margarete Bartolf, an Anabaptist of Niederdorla (in the Erfurt district), a miller's wife, "a stubborn and defiant woman," in a hearing in Niederdorla on 19 September 1564 stated her faith in a confession that testified beautifully of her experience of salvation. She escaped a martyr's death by flight.
