Barbele (Barberken) Pieters, an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, was executed on 19 July 1576 at [[Ghent (Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium)|Ghent]] in [[Belgium|Belgium]], with [[Lippijntgen Roetsaert (d. 1576)|Lippijntgen Roetsaerts]] and [[Sijntgen (d. 1576) |Kreupel Sijntgen]].
