The congregation originated as a new district in the Aylmer Amish community due to the increasing size of the congregation. The district is located three miles (five km) east of Aylmer, one mile (1.6 km) north of Highway 3. Bishop Isaac K. Stoltzfus served in 2001 as a non-salaried congregational leader.
