Alijt (Alijdt) Henrich Rommertsdochter was an Anabaptist martyr of "Gilthuys in't land van Benten," viz., Gildehaus in the district of Bentheim, Germany. She was seized in the house of Lambrecht Duppijns in Haarlem (Holland) on 23 May 1539, and after being tortured was drowned there on 29 May 1539. Alijdt was presumably a follower of David Joris.
