Albert Reyersz (also called Oldeknecht), an Anabaptist martyr, was beheaded at Amsterdam on 12 April 1537. Contrary to the proclamation of the emperor, he had held meetings of Anabaptists in his house. Albert Reyersz stemmed from Bolsward in the Dutch province of Friesland. Two other brethren were executed with him.
