The Abbotsford [[Church of God in Christ, Mennonite (CGC)|Church of God in Christ, Mennonite]] congregation in [[Abbotsford (British Columbia, Canada)|Abbotsford]], [[British Columbia (Canada)|British Columbia]], [[Canada]] had its beginning in the 1940s when the John Enns family moved from [[Manitoba (Canada)|Manitoba]] to be near family located at Langley. The Abbotsford Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada had its beginning in the 1940s when the John Enns family moved from Manitoba to be near family located at Langley. In the following years other families also moved to the area.

The congregation organized and held its first revival meetings in November 1948. Frank Wiebe of Steinbach, Manitoba accepted an invitation to lead the congregation, and moved to Abbotsford on 6 August 1949.
